Week10
Friday 8/16/06
Hi, it's Fri and we've been on our own for 2 days. The trim is on the tower windows, almost, we were short-my fault. Michael got the first coat of varithane on the stairs, I've been tiling the bathroom, and the endless job of painting, caulking, cleaning,,etc. Much of the trim is finished, I'm sure Greg was shaking his head with the assortment of material we gave him to work with. Once again, we supplied much of the wood, so Michael and I prepared it. They won't be back till Wed, so we have a chance to "catch up", what ever that means....we will take a trip to Calgary perhaps Mon-Tue to finish up most of the shopping....lights, etc. Unfortunately, our tower door order was cancelled, so we have to start all over again. Siding will go up next week, or at least started and the cat walk built, our railing replaced on our deck. Will they be finished by Sept?????
The end is in sight, though my studio will need work to get it back together. The mosquitoes are still terrible, so we can't enjoy being outdoors. The weather is perfect, fall is in the air, we're enjoying corn, beans, cukes, tomatoes, etc.
