Weekend Work
Hi, we've been working every day since we saw Greg last Wed, in preparation for some finishing work. The tower is finally painted, a nice light coffee and cream color. Michael also got the little windows finished. He got the rail up and also worked on another window and misc trim. I painted, painted and painted. Also picked up the new bathroom tiles which are far better than the ones I had gotten in Calgary. The aqua color for the lower portion of the bathroom is a bit bright, so I might have to lighten it a bit. Its darker than my picture shows me.
So things are finally looking better, I can almost see this project finished! I was so glad that we had rain so Mike could stick around and help. We finally got a chance to burn the scrap wood (there was an open fire ban). Anyhow, back to my early bed time. It's a bit of a mess upstairs and I should tidy up a few minutes before they arrive at 8.
