A beautiful day in Georgia for a beautiful wedding. Raj and Julie chose a two-part wedding. First, the elaborate and colorful Hindu ceremony. Then, later, the Christian ceremony.
An intermission between ceremonies provided an opportunity for the Bride and Groom to change their garmets. Photographers used the time to take pictures. The guests enjoyed snacks in the welcome air conditioned Festival Center.
The Christian Minister performs a lovely traditional Protestant ritual in the same tent.
Christianity addresses
marriage as a sacred commitment
between two persons and emphasizes fidelity, friendship,
respect and love against all odds. This commitment is
given to each other before God and is symbolized by
wedding rings. The rings are exchanged during the
ceremony and worn throughout marriage on the ring
finger of the husband and wives' left hand.
The Christian ceremony will be overseen by Reverend
Jeni Prigmore.
Raj and Julie exit the tent to the sound of cheers, now man and wife twice over
They head for the Festival Center for a moment of relative quiet, while the staff rearranges the tent for the Reception.
Julie gives a great smile.
