Julie and Raj's Wedding August 2004 - Page 4 -- The Reception

A beautiful day in Georgia for a beautiful wedding. Raj and Julie chose a two-part wedding. First, the elaborate and colorful Hindu ceremony. Then, later, the Christian ceremony.

An intermission between ceremonies provided an opportunity for the Bride and Groom to change their garmets. Photographers used the time to take pictures. The guests enjoyed snacks in the welcome air conditioned Festival Center. After the Christian ritual the guests once again retired for refreshments while the crew prepared the tent for the Reception under the Main Tent.

Julie's Aunt Jane Crow grabs a rest from her duties as Chief Traffic Officer.

Sarah Crow and her grandmother Ruth Crow look over the crowd.

Philip and Janet Crow looked relieved that the Reception has begun.

Julie poses in a romantic embrace with Raj during the traditional first dance.

The crowd applauds as they glide across the floor.

Julie and her Aunt Irene Johnston look happy at the Reception

Jane looks on as her brothers, Phil and Clint, look bemused in the background. What in the world ARE all those crazy drinks?

Stephanie Crow looks happy. The food has been served. Is that a tasty salad?

Julie dances with her Uncle Clint.

Raj's sister shows off her Indian dress.

The crowd roars approval as she dances.

Bill's family have come from Connecticut. Bill senior and Gary standing, with Diane also standing. Carolyne is sitting.

There is confusion at the cake cutting ceremony. Who smeared frosting on whom?

Grandmother Ruth Crow whispers in Stephanie Crow's ear. What special wisdom could she be imparting?

Julie and Kristen relax on the patio. The image is probable out of order, but who cares at this point?

Raj's sister Raahki and her cousin retreat to the patio to enjoy the evening view.
