A beautiful day in Georgia for a beautiful wedding. Raj and Julie chose a two-part wedding. First, the elaborate and colorful Hindu ceremony. Then, later, the Christian ceremony.

and all are all dressed in their saris, ready for the ceremony.
Rebecca and Bill pose with the Bride and Groom before the Ceremony. During the ceremony, lighting iunder the canopy proved difficult for all photographers. The combination of darkness with daylight in the background resulted in almost universal very dark subjects.

The Fusion of Two
Cultures Traditions During the long ceremony a number of symbolic rites were performed. Bill, as the father of the Bride ritually presents his precious daughter to the family of the grateful Groom. They exchange vows and gifts,

Raj's honored grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Virji Shingadia pose with Raj and Julie.
At times the platform had many participants. The bride's sister Kristen attended Julie, while Raj's two sisters helped Raj. The main function was to keep the Bride and Groom cool, since they were dressed in heavy garments.
Raj carries his beautiful Bride in a romantic photograph.
